picking a guitar. stratocaster or sg ?
plan on getting a new guitar somtime soon. i have an ibanez that i learned on now i want one i can PLAY on. a permanant guitar for me. i want something original and not to expensive in the $1000 price range. if i get a strat im gonna put kirk hammett emg pickups on it )one humbucker 2 single coils) I like playing a variety of music, acdc, eric clapton, srv, hendrix, just about anything. every now and then i like to play some grungy metal, but not to often. so which one should i get, gibson sg (stock) or fender stratocaster (emg pickups)?

i personally love the fat strat design
i suggest the strat
SGs are great, but the strat is gunna give you more choices
