Starting a Stratocaster "partscaster" project with a Musikraft neck, what is the best aftermarket body to use?
I want a true "deep contour" body like the 50's vintage Strats, in one or two piece alder or ash wood. I know the Eric Johnson model is pretty accurate to 50's specs, but I can't afford one of those or an American re-issue. The MIM RI's are close, but I want closer! (no offence to MIM owners!) And I want to do my own finish.
