How do i learn more about cars?
Ok what im really looking for is websites explaining cars, how to make them faster ect... Ive been reading a lot on how the engine works and the basic tune-ups ect... but i want to know more. Like when someone says something about blockhead i want to know exactly what that is and what it does. So anyone offer any good sites? Plus im taking Auto Tech next year for highschool so id like to be a head up on the competition. Thanks!
What kind of cars do you like? If you like domestics, go to Hot Rod.com message boards and ask questions. The folks on there are pretty helpful and friendly (if you don't have a rice burner).
If you like imports, go to the message boards for magazines geared toward them.
Oh, and it's not blockhead. You've got your block, which contains the cylinders, pistons, crank and so on; and the head(s), which cap off the cylinders and contain much of the valvetrain.
